Description
this may have come up before but i can't find any reference to it in the bugtracking system. when i create a new member and create a domain by checking the "Create the domain username.taktic.org" the subdomain doesn't appear to be created -- it doesn't resolve via dig. when i make changes to the subdomain through the member page and manually run update_domains.sh, the error given is that "Should change username.taktic.org, but can't find /var/alternc/bind/zones/username.taktic.org" -- the file doesn't exist, nor does username exist as an entry in /var/alternc/bind/zones/taktic.org -- which is probably why it isn't working. why isn't alternc creating this file when i add a new member? any idea how i can fix this?
easy management of free subdomains accounts for users is part of what i want to use alternc for -- and everything else is working great.
thanks, john

adding a wildcard for the hosting domain makes the subdomains resolve -- not a very elegant solution, though...
